Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup uncooked oats
- 1/2 cup ground pecans
- 1.5 tsp orange peel
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tsp light corn syrup
- 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
Directions:
- Heat oven to 325 degrees. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- Combine flour, brown sugar, oats, pecans, orange peel, and baking powder in medium bowl. Combine melted butter, corn syrup, and whipping cream in a small bowl. Stir butter mixture into flour mixture; mix well.
- Drop dough by rounded teaspoons, 4 inches apart, onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 7 to 8 minutes or until edges are golden brown and bubbly. Cool completely on parchment paper.
- Spread flat side of each cookie with melted chocolate using a pastry brush or spatula. Place onto clean parchment paper, chocolate side up. Let stand until chocolate has set.
