Ingredients
White beans
Directions:
- Drain the bowl of beans in the colander. Rinse with cold water.
- Transfer the beans to the stainless steal dutch oven
- Fill the pot with beans about 3/4 full with water.
- Place on stovetop, bring to boil.
- Once it boils, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Check beans for tenderness. This is best done by taking one out, blowing on it to cool it and placing it in your mouth.
- If tender, drain in colander and then place in glass bowl. If not, cook additional 10-15 minutes.
- Repeat last two steps until beans are done.
