Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 F.
2. Cream butter and brown sugar until smoothly blended. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat until fluffy. Blend in honey and buttermilk.
3. In a separate bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, cloves, cinnamon, and salt; mix into creamed mixture.
4. Stir in raisins and nuts.
5. Spoon batter into a greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch pan. Bake at 325 F for 1 hour. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then turn out on rack and cool completely.
