Jodi’s Whole Wheat Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 C butter
  • 3/4 C white sugar
  • 3/4 C brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 C dry oatmeal
  • 2 C whole wheat flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Cream butter and sugars with an electric mixer. Add the eggs and vanilla, beat until incorporated. Mix in oatmeal.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  • With mixer on low, incorporate flour mixture. Add chocolate chips,
  • Bake for 10 minutes. Cool cookies on pan for 5 – 10 minutes and then move to a wire rack.
