Ingredients:
- 1/2 C butter
- 3/4 C white sugar
- 3/4 C brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 C dry oatmeal
- 2 C whole wheat flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Cream butter and sugars with an electric mixer. Add the eggs and vanilla, beat until incorporated. Mix in oatmeal.
- In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- With mixer on low, incorporate flour mixture. Add chocolate chips,
- Bake for 10 minutes. Cool cookies on pan for 5 – 10 minutes and then move to a wire rack.
